The Turn Around with Pastor Randy Hollis

Key Scriptures

(John 18:1-6 NLT) 1 After saying these things, Jesus crossed the Kidron Valley with his disciples and entered a grove of olive trees. 2 Judas, the betrayer, knew this place, because Jesus had often gone there with his disciples. 3 The leading priests and Pharisees had given Judas a contingent (Cohort) of Roman soldiers and Temple guards to accompany him. Now with blazing torches, lanterns, and weapons, they arrived at the olive grove. 4 Jesus fully realized all that was going to happen to him, so he stepped forward to meet them. “Who are you looking for?” he asked. 5 “Jesus the Nazarene,” they replied.

“I Am ,”he Jesus said. (Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.) 6 As Jesus said “I Am he,” they all drew back and fell to the ground!

(Mark 14:51-52 ESV) 51 And a young man followed him, with nothing but a linen cloth about his body. And they seized him, 52 but he left the linen cloth (sheet) and ran away naked.

(John18:10 NLT) Then Simon Peter drew a sword and slashed off the right ear of Malchus, the high priest’s slave.

(Isaish 61 NIV) He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

to proclaim freedom for the captives

and release from darkness for the prisoners,

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor

to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,

the oil of joy instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
